The nation is in mourning following the tragic loss of eight Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) officers in Teluk Intan. These brave individuals fell in the line of duty, upholding their responsibility to safeguard our nation’s security.
On behalf of the entire Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) and the people of Malaysia, I extend our deepest condolences to the families of the fallen. This is a profound loss, but their sacrifice will forever remain etched in the hearts of our people and in the annals of our nation’s history.
We stand in solidarity with the families during this difficult time and pray that the souls of these heroes are granted eternal peace and a noble place by His side.

Negara hari ini berdukacita atas pemergian lapan anggota Unit Simpanan Persekutuan (FRU) dalam insiden tragik di Teluk Intan. Mereka gugur dalam menjalankan amanah dan tanggungjawab mempertahankan keselamatan negara.
Saya mewakili seluruh warga parti MIC serta masyarakat Malaysia, merakamkan ucapan takziah yang sedalam-dalamnya kepada keluarga mangsa. Pemergian ini satu kehilangan besar, namun pengorbanan mereka akan sentiasa terpahat dalam ingatan rakyat dan sejarah negara.
Kita berdiri teguh bersama keluarga mangsa dalam saat yang sukar ini, dan mendoakan agar roh para wira ini dicucuri rahmat serta diberikan tempat yang mulia di sisi-Nya.
Negara ini terbina atas jasa dan pengorbanan insan-insan sepertinya. Kita tidak akan melupakan mereka.
