YBHG TAN SRI DATO’ SRI DR. SA. VIGNESWARAN
MIC PRESIDENT
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri SA. Vigneswaran is a prominent Malaysian politician and leader of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC). After the MIC’s poor performance in the 2018 General Election, he stepped in as president, unopposed, at a critical time. Vigneswaran, the son of the late Sannasee, a former MIC member, has a long history of community service, particularly through the MIC Youth and the Malaysian Indian Youth Development Foundation (MIYDF), which he founded. He was elected as the Member of Parliament for Kota Raja and appointed Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Tan Sri President has been active in humanitarian efforts, including aid missions to Palestine, Sri Lanka, and India, earning recognition as Ambassador for Peace. He served as the 17th President of the Senate, advocating for a reformed Dewan Negara. In 2021, he was appointed as the 9th Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to India and South Asia. Vigneswaran was also named First Pro-Chancellor, and later Chancellor, of AIMST University. A staunch believer in strengthening Malaysia-India relations, he has contributed to both countries’ bilateral ties. He authored the book Redemption of Indian Dignity in 2009.

YB DATUK SERI M.SARAVANAN
MIC DEPUTY PRESIDENT
YB Datuk Seri M.Saravanan is a distinguished Malaysian politician and a dedicated leader within the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC). He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tapah since March 2008, consistently working to uplift his constituents and the Malaysian Indian community. Prior to these roles, he was the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in the BN administration of Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak, where he championed youth development and sports initiatives.
