Join the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) and be part of a movement that represents and
uplifts the Indian community in Malaysia.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for MIC membership, you must:
- Be 18 years old or above
- Be a Malaysian citizen of Indian origin
- Agree to abide by the MIC Constitution, rules, policies, and programmes.
- Not be a member of or affiliated with any other political party.
Membership Fee
- Ordinary Member: RM3.25 per year
How to Apply
Choose your preferred method: online or manual application.
Online Application
Step 1: Access the Form
Visit the MIC Online Form
Step 2: Fill in the Details
Complete all required fields in the form.
Step 3: Upload Documents
Prepare and upload:
- A recent colour passport-sized photo
- Front and back copies of your MyKad
Step 4: Wait for Approval
Your application will be:
- Reviewed by the MIC IT Department
- Forwarded to the MIC Central Committee
- If approved, a confirmation email will be sent to you
Manual Application
Step 1: Download the Form
Get the form from the MIC Download Hub or visit MIC HQ.
Step 2: Fill Out the Form
Make sure all details are accurate.
Step 3: Prepare Documents
Attach:
- A recent colour passport-sized photo
- A copy of your MyKad (front and back)
Step 4: Pay the Fee (RM3.25)
Accepted payment methods:
- Cash
- Money Order (Payable to: MIC HQ)
Step 5: Submit Your Application
Deliver all documents and payment to:
- MIC HQ Finance Department
- Or IT Department, MIC HQ
Step 6: Approval Process
Your application will be reviewed and sent to the MIC Central Committee.
Upon approval, you’ll receive a confirmation letter via email.
